We have sold our campground, effective the 13th of November, 2009.

We wish to thank all of our returning, and, new campers, for seven years of a wonderful experience serving your camping needs.

The new owners, Steve and Terri Foster, are endeavoring to continue the Family Format of Camping, and, will be just as eager to serve your needs as we were.

Keep watching the site, for an updated web presence!

Thanks again, and, we will no doubt see many of you in the weeks, and years to come, as we will be taking up full-time camping for a while!

Timberline Family Campground

Welcome to our web-site.  Please contact us by E-Mail, if you have need for specific information.
We have 95 campsites, 91 of which are full hook-up, water, sewer, and electric, 30 amp, 12 50 Amp service Pull-thru, and 4 Sites are water and electric only. We are situated on 80 acres, with  one mile of frontage on White River, between Anderson, and Chesterfield, 2.8 miles West of Interstate 69, exit 34.
Yes, a convenient 2.8 miles! Close enough to be handy, but far enough you cannot hear it!

Trains are 3 miles away, and, in HUMID weather, you may hear them.

Directions:

Sorry, GPS will NOT find us! United States Geological Survey omitted our road when this map was submitted. We can't get any changes made. If you can navigate co-ordinates, use Latitude N 40 degrees, 7.010 minutes....Longitude W 85 degrees, 36.600 minutes.

If that is not possible, please call us before you come in to get a "talk in", or clarification! It will make your day a LOT better!

North-bound I-69, exit 34 is VERY confusing! It is a double exit. First road at bottom of ramp is Indiana 67. Cross over it, it looks as though you are going back onto the interstate, but you are not. Stay to the RIGHT side, you will exit onto Indiana State Road 32. Go WEST, 2.8 miles, to airport, that is County road 300 E, there is where you turn RIGHT, down the hill, RIGHT again, up the next short hill, and LEFT into the Campground.
We have a 13 acre island in the river, and a great many choices of bike (pedal type) riding, and hiking trails.
Nearby, a 10 minute drive, is Hoosier Park,  featuring a regular race schedule from mid March, to mid December. We are the closest full-service facility to the track/casino park, just about 4 miles away.

Up stream, you will find a canoe livery, offering float trips of 2 to 10 hours on the river. You may view their site at  www.canoeindiana.com.  It is possible to arrange a nice day trip, and arrive at your campsite right on the river!
We have a 3.5 acre fishing lake, and a sandy beach for enjoying the hot days of summer!

Indiana campground owners are certainly proud of the work and efforts they have put into a well developed network of comfortable, safe areas for you and your family to enjoy your summer season. Please browse the files at     http://campindiana.com/  and include these in your journey across our friendly State!

We have in operation, Wi-Fi , and, it services the front half of the park at this time.

We have a two machine laundry facility, for the use of our patrons.

Please note, each site has a fire ring, and table. Fire wood is available from our store, cost is $10 for a generous wheeled basket.
Propane is available on site.

If you bring your own wood, please be sure to burn it all, we are not wanting to play host to the Emerald Ash Borer, as it has been transported in firewood brought in from other counties.

Please note, we will not allow Pit Bull type dogs for any reason. For those who think a fancy
name will get them in, It will not. We mean, NO STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIERS, or,
AMERICAN BULL TERRIER.

We are pet friendly, but not to this breed, so, please don't even ask....and don't try to slip
them by!

Effective immediately, No Personal Fireworks Allowed, At Any Time!

That includes sparklers, fire-crackers, bottle rockets, in simple terms, ALL of it!
Violation will result in expulsion, and NO REFUND. Thanks for understanding.

We are near the Town of Chesterfield, you might want to check out their site.

You will find it at    http://www.chesterfield.in.gov/

We now have a Club House, for Rally events, featuring a Full Kitchen, inside room for meeting, dining, cards, all weather activities.  Heated and Air Conditioned!
